Bita M. Rajaee
Bita received her Bachelor of Humanities with Honours from Carleton University in 2007, and obtained a Masters in Arts, specializing in Medieval Philosophy, in 2008. She received her Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012. While in Law School, Bita participated in various clinical education programs, including the Community Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP) and the Osgoode Business Clinic, where she provided legal services to those who could not afford it.
Bita articled at a reputable Personal Injury law firm, where she represented clients at numerous Examinations, motions before the Superior Court, and countless mediations and pre-arbitration hearings before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).
Subsequent to getting Called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2013, Bita has continued her practice in civil litigation, focusing primarily on insurance defence litigation, and has represented insurance companies on a variety of issues, including accident benefits litigation, fraud, and tort matters. She has provided clients with legal and coverage opinions on a multitude of insurance related matters, and has represented clients at various court levels including Superior Court, Small Claims Court, and FSCO.
